Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and a Reborn Japan――The Integrity and National Vision Required of a Leader Who Bears the Fate of the Nation
This essay regards the scandal of a lawmaker from a pro-Constitution party during the state of emergency as a symbol of the individualism embodied by Japan’s postwar Constitution, and argues that the attacks on Prime Minister Abe over Moritomo Gakuen, the cherry blossom viewing party, and the Public Prosecutor’s Office Act controversy were schemes by anti-Japanese forces. It insists that Shinzo Abe is the leader who possesses the national vision, diplomatic policy, and integrity required to lead a reborn Japan.

Many critics do not understand the saying, “small birds cannot understand the aspirations of a great swan”: the spirit of a statesman exists on a higher plane, beyond the reach of mediocre thinking.
When we consider that a leader must possess a clear national vision and diplomatic policy, and must also be upright and incorruptible, who other than Prime Minister Shinzo Abe could fulfill that role?
I believe that for all the people of this nation to proclaim loudly that the next president of the Liberal Democratic Party must also be Prime Minister Abe is itself the act of protecting this country.
