Who Is Making Them Do Something So Absurd? It Can Be No One Other Than South Korea or China.

This is a republication of a chapter first posted on March 4, 2020. It criticizes Japanese media coverage of COVID-19 for adding the Diamond Princess cases to Japan’s domestic infection count, thereby making Japan appear comparable to South Korea, China, Iran, and Italy. The chapter argues that this reflects media deference to China and a broader attempt by South Korea and China to shift blame and disguise responsibility.

Who is making them do something so absurd?
It can be no one other than South Korea or China.
I am republishing the chapter that I posted on 2020-03-04 under this title.

In the afternoon, I happened to have the television on, and a Yomiuri TV wide-show was being broadcast.
A program called something like Miyane-ya.
As I watched it, I thought, no, that is wrong, and at the same time I thought, as I expected.
That was because, when reporting the number of people infected in Japan with the novel coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, they deliberately included the number of infected people on the Diamond Princess, even though no Japanese citizen had asked them to do any such thing, and reported that the number of infected people in Japan had exceeded 1,000.
If the cruise ship and those who returned from Wuhan are excluded, the number of infected people at this very moment today is 302.
Today, it was reported that the number of infected people in the United States had suddenly exceeded 100.
In other words, for the time being, Japan is at the same level as the United States, and it is outrageous to discuss Japan in the same category as South Korea, Iran, Italy, and the like.
Yet, from today, for some reason, the Japanese media began reporting that the number of infected people in Japan had exceeded 1,000.
In the afternoon it was Nippon Television, and then, as if following suit, NHK’s 7 p.m. news also began reporting that the number of infected people in Japan had exceeded 1,000.
Who is making them do something so absurd?
It can be no one other than South Korea or China.
There is the painstaking work of a TBS employee, which I discovered online, introduced, and which appeared many times at the top of search results in this manuscript, or there are the facts taught to us by Masayuki Takayama, the one and only journalist in the postwar world.
In the chaos after the war, starting with NHK, Koreans who had been residing in Japan rushed into the Japanese media.
The TBS employee informed us of the reality that Japanese television stations had been virtually taken over by Korean residents in Japan.
Nippon Television, which regularly broadcasts special programs that denigrate Japan late on Sunday nights after Going has ended, last week broadcast a narration that flatly asserted such things as the Ainu having been the indigenous people of Japan.
And then came today.
The present situation is that the countries of bottomless evil and plausible lies have begun carrying out against Japan their favorite tactics of shifting blame and impersonation.
We must notice this and prevent it.
The Japanese people are not in a situation where they can allow Chinese nationals to enter Japan on a free pass while being infected by pseudo-moralism, pseudo-political correctness, and the like.
If the infected person in Kochi was one of those infected at the live house in Osaka, then I infer that this woman was infected by Chinese students who had returned from China for the new school term.
As for the outbreak in Hokkaido, there is surely no one in the world who would object to the view that Chinese tourists who came to see the Sapporo Snow Festival were the source.
And yet the Japanese media has not reported at all who the source of infection in Hokkaido was.
The very media that has continued to show such deference toward China, when it came to the massive fabricated Morikake reporting in which they made a huge fuss together with the opposition parties, reported day and night that it was deference toward Prime Minister Abe.
That same media, at least among the stations I watch, and NHK programs in particular, have not once reported who the source of infection in Hokkaido was.
In other words, they are showing perfect deference toward China.

From today, China has clearly begun the work of manipulating them according to its own intentions, shifting blame onto Japan, and impersonating Japan.
There is also no doubt that South Korea’s intention to drag Japan into the same category as itself is working powerfully.
In other words, the heart of Japan’s media, especially television media, is under their influence operations.
Or else, they have infiltrated it.
There is no other way to understand the behavior that began today.
That is because no genuine Japanese person would report to the world in a way that makes his own country look like a contaminated country on the same level as China or South Korea.
Jiro Yamaguchi probably will not cut down such people.
Just now, the first infected person has appeared in Miyazaki Prefecture.
Rui Sasaki, one of the best reporters working today, has taught us the reality that at a certain school in Miyazaki Prefecture, the majority of the enrolled students are Chinese.

Government, it is not too late even now.
If a total entry ban is difficult, then, just as China does, quarantine Chinese entrants for 14 days after they enter the country.
For those who are carriers but young, healthy, and not showing symptoms, airport thermal scanners are meaningless!
