I wondered whether this country was no longer functioning as a country.
Come to think of it, Italy actually developed as a collection of city-states, and it was only later that it became Italy…
The Italian unification movement… Risorgimento in Italian was a political and social movement aimed at the unification of Italy that took place in the 19th century (1815–1871).
Since the Middle Ages, Italy had been divided into small states, each of which engaged in power struggles with the backing of Austria, Spain, and France.
At the beginning of the 19th century, Italy, like many other European countries, entered Napoleon’s sphere of influence, and various reforms were carried out.
After Napoleon’s downfall, the old order was restored under the influence of the Austrian Empire, but forces centered on the Carbonari and Mazzini’s Young Italy sought the unification of Italy and the overthrow of the feudal system.
After the failure of the “Roman Republic” associated with the Revolutions of 1848, the Kingdom of Sardinia became the center of the movement, and the Italian Wars of Independence (Guerre d’Indipendenza Italiane) were fought against Austria and the Habsburg monarchy, resulting in Lombardy, which had been under Austrian rule (the former Duchy of Milan), being annexed to the Kingdom of Sardinia.
In addition, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria, and other parts of central Italy decided through referendums to be annexed to the Kingdom of Sardinia.

After that, Giuseppe Garibaldi landed in Sicily leading his private army, the Expedition of the Thousand, and eventually conquered the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies in southern Italy.

In 1861, the Kingdom of Italy was established, and unification was, for the time being, achieved.
Venetia was annexed in 1866, and in 1870 Rome and the remaining Papal territories were annexed, completing the unification of the peninsula, but in this movement, which regarded all lands inhabited by Italians (those belonging to Italian culture) as targets for unification, the annexation of the unredeemed territories remained a political issue thereafter (Italian irredentism).
It was only after Italy’s victory in the First World War that the remaining unredeemed Italian territories were finally incorporated into the Kingdom of Italy.
It was a process that extended from the 1800s through the First World War.
In other words, Italy’s history as a nation-state is extremely recent.
In such circumstances, there is an underground-economy mentality deeply rooted among the people—the mentality of not paying taxes… I know this from personal experience… I will discuss this later.
There was something in the signing ceremony and in Conte’s expression that reminded me of the atmosphere before the Second World War.
At the same time, I thought of something else.

Because propaganda and covert operations are what one-party Communist dictatorships are best at.
China did not begin expanding into Africa and exercising influence there only yesterday or today.
As a result of the Asahi Shimbun, NHK, and others, which readily align themselves with their information operations, continuing to dominate Japan until August five years ago…
The Nanjing Massacre… those with keen insight should all have realized that the original source for this was the fabricated “Port Arthur Massacre” reports.
The “Hundred-Man Killing Contest” was a fabricated article by Kazuo Asami of the Mainichi Shimbun.
In order to prevent Asami from confessing that the article was fabricated, China (with Liao Chengzhi in charge) brought Asami’s entire family into China’s orbit.
Then reporters from The New York Times and others followed the example of fabricated reports of the Port Arthur Massacre produced by American journalists during the First World War and began producing fabricated reports of the Nanjing Massacre around the time of the Second World War.
China exploited what had been a scheme of U.S. national strategy at the time to portray Japan as the villain and isolate it from the international community, and as a result of Asahi and NHK aligning themselves with China (being subjected to influence operations), Japan began providing China with the largest economic assistance in human history.
I am 100% convinced that my assertion that this money flowed into Africa is correct.
After China began exercising power in Africa, the chaos in Africa deepened further.
And now, last night, Italy’s extremely problematic Prime Minister Conte demonstrated it… who can say that there was no Chinese scheme behind the mass movement of peoples from Africa to Europe, taking the form of refugees, which is bringing about the fragmentation of Europe?
It is an unmistakable fact uncovered in the United States, and even Japan’s NHK reported that the sudden formation of massive groups in Central and South America was the work of someone who posted on social media, and that those behind the scheme can now no longer be contacted at all.
That Italy had deteriorated to such an extent.
I had found it strange that Italy had become like South Korea within Europe and had begun attacking France, but I never imagined that it had truly become the Korean Peninsula of Europe.
