2024年12月28日、京都紅葉の横綱・永観堂。 紅葉の名所の中でも圧倒的な美を誇るこの寺院は、まさに「秋の極致」。
境内を染め上げる赤と黄金の光景は、時を忘れさせるほどに荘厳で、訪れる者すべての心を揺さぶります。
この映像では、マリア・カラスの名唱《Costa Diva》を重ねました。
彼女の声が響きわたる瞬間、永観堂の紅葉は単なる景観を超え、魂に届く芸術へと昇華します。
撮影の合間に味わったぜんざいと抹茶は、心と体をそっと癒やし、また歩みを進める力を与えてくれました。
そして私は、紅葉の極み・永観堂の後半へと向かったのです。

Among all the famed sites of Kyoto, Eikando stands as a place of overwhelming beauty, where crimson and golden leaves transform the temple grounds into a vision of timeless majesty.
In this video, I have paired the scenery with Maria Callas’s legendary performance of Costa Diva.
As her voice soars, the autumn colors of Eikando transcend mere landscape and rise into the realm of living art.
A bowl of sweet zenzai and a cup of matcha offered comfort and renewal between moments of filming, before I continued toward the second part of this journey into the pinnacle of Kyoto’s autumn.
