The Botanical Garden on October 8, 2013, accompanied by the third movement of Brahms’s Violin Concerto and Rachmaninoff’s performance of “Lilacs.”

前年に続き、この年も１年３６５日の内、３００日を、京都府立植物園で過ごしていたようである。
ここに棲息している生物は、皆、私とは顔見知り、と言っても過言ではない。
私の、この頃の写真には、そんな気配がある。
カワセミを一人占めして撮った日の写真に再会した私の嬉しさ！
この頃、この場所を高価な望遠レンズ付きのカメラで撮影に訪れていた人たちのお目当てがカワセミだった。
The Botanical Garden on October 8, 2013, accompanied by the third movement of Brahms’s Violin Concerto and Rachmaninoff’s performance of “Lilacs.”
As with the previous year, it seems that I spent 300 days out of the 365 of that year at the Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden.
It would be no exaggeration to say that all the living creatures inhabiting this place were familiar to me.
There is a hint of that presence in my photographs from that time.
The joy I felt upon encountering again the photographs from the day when I had the kingfisher all to myself!
At that time, the people who came to this place with expensive cameras equipped with telephoto lenses were all aiming to photograph the kingfisher.
