The Facebook profile under the name “Kenji Akutagawa” was neither created nor operated by me.
It is an impersonation created by a criminal.
“Kenji Akutagawa（芥川賢治）” is the former pen name once used by me, MIKIO KISARA（木皿幹雄）.
I have never authorized any third party to use this name or to create or operate any Facebook profile under it.
About The Turntable of Civilization and the Former Pen Name “Kenji Akutagawa”
The Turntable of Civilization project began on July 16, 2010.
It was published as a book in Japan by Bungeisha on December 1, 2011, under my former pen name, “Kenji Akutagawa.”
Since its inception, this body of work has expanded to more than 300,000 published posts and related items, including essays, political and social commentary, blog articles, photographic works, and YouTube productions.
All of these works constitute one continuous body of authorship created and developed by the same author.
The author’s current name is MIKIO KISARA（木皿幹雄）.
The former pen name “Kenji Akutagawa（芥川賢治）” and the current author name MIKIO KISARA（木皿幹雄）refer to one and the same person.
The Facebook Impersonation
In or around November 2017, a Facebook profile appeared under the name “Kenji Akutagawa.”
That profile was not created or operated by me.
It falsely presented itself as though it were the authentic Facebook presence of the author who had written and published The Turntable of Civilization under that former pen name.
At one point, the impersonating profile had accumulated 3,052 Facebook friends, thereby creating an extremely serious risk that large numbers of people would mistake the criminal impersonator for the genuine author.
This was not an accidental duplication of a name.
It was a deliberate act of impersonation carried out by a criminal who knew that “Kenji Akutagawa” was my former pen name.
I have never given that person, or anyone else, permission to use my former pen name, identity, authorship, published history, or reputation.
Connection with the Long-Running Search Interference
The Facebook impersonation did not arise in isolation.
Since 2011, I have been subjected to persistent interference involving the mass creation of blogs and accounts, unauthorized reproduction of my writings, false attribution, search-result distortion, and attempts to cause confusion concerning the identity of the genuine author.
The use of my former pen name on Facebook intensified that confusion.
Search users who encountered the impersonating Facebook profile could easily be led to believe that the profile belonged to the author of The Turntable of Civilization.
The resulting search environment has repeatedly caused my former pen name, unrelated accounts, copied material, obsolete information, and the impersonating Facebook profile to be displayed in ways that obscure or displace my official website and my current publications under the name MIKIO KISARA.
Meta’s Responsibility
The Facebook profile under the name “Kenji Akutagawa” is a false profile using my former pen name and author identity without authorization.
Meta has been informed of the impersonation.
Nevertheless, the false profile has not been appropriately removed or corrected, and the state of misrepresentation has been allowed to continue.
Meta must preserve all records connected with the creation and operation of the profile, including registration information, login records, access records, changes to profile information, linked accounts, communications, and all other data necessary to identify the person responsible.
Meta must also investigate why a criminal was able to continue using the former pen name and identity of an established author in a manner capable of deceiving thousands of Facebook users.
Correction of the Author’s Name
I am now correcting references throughout my official website and republished writings so that my current author name, MIKIO KISARA（木皿幹雄）, is displayed clearly and consistently.
These corrections do not represent a change in authorship.
They clarify that the works formerly published under the pen name “Kenji Akutagawa（芥川賢治）” and the works currently published under the name MIKIO KISARA（木皿幹雄）were created by the same author.
They are also necessary to prevent the Facebook impersonator and other unrelated third parties from being mistaken for the genuine author.
Official Declaration
I hereby formally declare the following:
The author and creator of The Turntable of Civilization is MIKIO KISARA（木皿幹雄）.
“Kenji Akutagawa（芥川賢治）” is my former pen name.
The Facebook profile under the name “Kenji Akutagawa” was neither created nor operated by me.
It is an impersonation created by a criminal.
I have never authorized any third party to use my former pen name or to represent themselves as the author of my works.
Any representation suggesting that the Facebook profile belongs to me, or that its operator is the author of The Turntable of Civilization, is false.
This official website constitutes the original and definitive source concerning my identity, my former pen name, and the authorship and ownership of this body of work.
