The Trump Administration Fighting the “Beijintern”—The Committee on the Present Danger: China and the Opening of the New U.S.–China Cold War

Published on February 19, 2020.
Based on a work by Keiko Kawasoe, this essay discusses the meaning of the Committee on the Present Danger: China, established in 2019.
Following earlier committees focused on the Soviet Union and terrorism, the establishment of a CPD targeting China for the first time marks the true opening of the new U.S.–China Cold War, revealing how the Trump administration, under the banner of “America First,” is confronting communist ideology disguised as globalism and the “Beijintern.”

The Trump administration, under the expression “America First,” is fighting communist ideology disguised under the signboard of globalism, and not the Comintern but the “Beijintern.”
At the recommendation of a friend who is one of the most well-read people I know, I am now reading the following book, and after reading only the first few pages, I became convinced that NHK is completely under the influence operations of the Chinese Communist Party.
Mayuko Wakuda, who will become the anchor of Watch 9 from April, is, at least formally, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo.
Fusae Ota graduated at the top of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo, became a section chief at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, then Governor of Osaka Prefecture, and then a Liberal Democratic Party Diet member; she is Wakuda’s great senior.
Therefore, Wakuda should at least have the ability to realize that the people now controlling NHK’s news department, the left-wing documentary makers parasitizing NHK, and political operators such as those in the Constitutional Democratic Party, are under Chinese influence operations.
If, in fact, she has only the ability required for entrance-examination study, and not only cannot understand the truth of matters at all, but has already been brainwashed by her superiors, then all the more reason she must rush to the nearest bookstore to buy the book below.
Only after that should she work as an anchor on Watch 9.
Conversely, without reading this book, she must not call herself an anchor and comment on politics.
If she does not read it, she must make no comments whatsoever and report only the facts.
The author, Keiko Kawasoe, is one of the leading journalists of our time.
It is a book that not only the Japanese people but people all over the world must read.
In this essay, not only the preceding passage but also large portions of the middle have been omitted, but needless to say, all of those parts too are essential reading.
I urge the Japanese people to go to their nearest bookstore and purchase the book.
Those in the international community who have taken at face value the anti-Japanese propaganda of China and South Korea should recognize the truth through this essay.
The Purpose of the CPD Is “to Bring Down the Chinese Communist Party Regime”
On March 25, 2019, the U.S. Congress established the fourth Committee on the Present Danger: China, the first such committee in 15 years.
The first Committee on the Present Danger, or CPD, was established in December 1950 under the Truman administration, during the Korean War, for the purpose of responding to Soviet aggression.
The second was established in November 1976, just before the Carter administration began, as a crisis committee to respond to the threat of Soviet hegemony, and many of its key members were later brought into the Reagan administration.
The third establishment in 2004 was for the purpose of fighting terrorism.
This time, the target became “China” for the first time.
In other words, this signifies the full-fledged opening of the new U.S.–China Cold War era.
The CPD’s members include more than 40 people, among them members of Congress, former intelligence officials from previous administrations, professors specializing in China, experts in strategic missile defense, religious figures, think-tank researchers, specialists in diplomacy, national defense, politics, and religion, human-rights activists, and former democracy activists from the time of the Tiananmen Square incident.
The name of Bannon, a former close aide to President Trump, is also included.
It is said that the CPD has an “Executive Committee” and a “Secret Committee,” and there are also rumors that some global super-heavyweights have secretly joined as members.
I suspect that they may be part, or perhaps many, of the Deep State, meaning international financial capitalists, who have turned their course toward an “anti-Xi Jinping regime” position.
I believe that the mission of the CPD this time is “to bring down the Chinese Communist Party regime,” or, even if estimated more mildly, “to weaken it.”
The speaker at the CPD’s first meeting, held in April 2019, was Bannon.
The world’s media loudly spread the story that, when Bannon left the White House after about seven months, he had “fallen out with President Trump,” but is that really so?
To my eyes, Bannon’s words and actions look like nothing other than those of a public-relations man for the Trump administration, which, under the expression “America First,” is fighting communist ideology disguised under the signboard of globalism, and not the Comintern but the “Beijintern.”
At the very least, an attitude of respect for President Trump is clearly visible in him.
The European Parliament Also “Moved”
What deserves attention is that the European Parliament also “moved.”
On September 19, 2019, it adopted a resolution “on the importance of European remembrance for the future of Europe.”
That resolution included the following passage: “Whereas the Nazi and communist regimes carried out mass murders, genocide and deportations and caused a loss of life and freedom in the 20th century on a scale unseen in human history; recalling the horrific crime of the Holocaust perpetrated by the Nazi regime; condemning in the strongest possible terms the acts of aggression, crimes against humanity and mass human rights violations perpetrated by the Nazi, communist and other totalitarian regimes.”
