I was watching watch9 while observing the total lunar eclipse, and after the program ended, I switched to BS1’s International News Report a short while ago, where it happened to be reporting on President Trump’s State of the Union address.
As those who watched Watch9 know, watch9 reported that the Democratic Party and voters opposed President Trump’s address by presenting the claims of a man in his thirties, apparently a Democratic supporter, who was in a place resembling a sports bar and openly treated President Trump as a fool while making mocking comments.
＊Last year, presumably in order to steer public opinion concerning some matter, they went, if I remember correctly, to Toyo University and had the students of a genuinely tiny seminar state a conclusion aligned with the distorted ideology of the people who control watch9—people whom, as I have mentioned many times, I am convinced are cells of China or the Korean Peninsula.
As I have already written, this was the same childish, facile, and underhanded method seen on January 7, when they described a gathering as a place for young people’s morning activities, assembled approximately six young men and women raised under yutori education, and broadcast the truly outrageous claim that yutori education—advocated by a man named Ken Terawaki who, to put it kindly, appears to be a puppet of opposition political hacks and television stations—had been correct and was not mistaken, and that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology was at fault for ending it.＊
Everyone who watched Watch9 must have concluded that opposition to President Trump was quite strong and that many Americans rejected him.
However, that was not the case.
International News Report properly reported the results of an American public-opinion survey concerning the State of the Union address.
Astonishingly, in complete contrast to Watch9’s reporting, more than 72 percent of Americans supported the address on every issue.
The people who control Watch9 disseminate their own opinions even by using the childish, facile, and underhanded methods described above—which disqualify them as journalists—but when a matter does not conform to their opinions or ideology, although it is nothing more than a distorted ideology, they openly wield their “freedom not to report.”
Although NHK is effectively Japan’s state-run broadcasting organization, supported by what is, in practical terms, money from the taxes of the Japanese people, its employees never describe it that way.
Instead, they call themselves a “public broadcaster,” a designation without any comprehensible meaning, and they are the most dangerous enemies within for Japan and the Japanese people.
Today, I reached a definitive conclusion.
Arima, if you wish to rebel so strongly against Japan and against the prime minister of Japan and the president of its most important ally, despite receiving one of Japan’s highest salaries as an NHK employee, paid in practical terms from the taxes of the Japanese people, then you should immediately resign from NHK and become an opposition political hack in either the Communist Party or the Constitutional Democratic Party.
