小澤征爾によるヒストリカル・パフォーマンス、8分55秒の演奏を使用しています。
夜明け直後の中之島薔薇園には、昼間とは全く異なる時間が流れていました。
まだ人影の少ない静かな園内で、朝の光を受けて薔薇が次々と姿を現し、色彩と香りがゆっくりと目覚めていきます。
ラヴェルの「道化師の朝の歌」は、鋭いリズム、眩い色彩、そして一瞬の陰影を併せ持つ作品です。
小澤征爾の演奏は、その複雑な表情を鮮やかに捉えながら、音楽を決して重く停滞させません。
跳ねるようなリズム、閃くような音色、ふと訪れる寂寥。
それらが、早朝の薔薇園に差し込む光と、風に揺れる花々の表情に見事に重なりました。

軽やかでありながら、深い陰影を宿している。

This work is composed of photographs taken at Nakanoshima Rose Garden in the early morning of May 16, 2026.
The music is Alborada del gracioso from Maurice Ravel’s Miroirs, performed in a historic recording conducted by Seiji Ozawa.
The performance lasts 8 minutes and 55 seconds.
Just after dawn, Nakanoshima Rose Garden possessed a completely different atmosphere from that of the daytime.
With few people present, the garden remained quiet as the roses gradually emerged into the morning light, their colors and fragrance slowly awakening.
Ravel’s Alborada del gracioso combines sharp rhythm, brilliant color, and sudden moments of shadow.
Ozawa’s performance captures these complex expressions vividly, while never allowing the music to become heavy or static.
Leaping rhythms, flashes of color, and brief moments of solitude…
All of them merge beautifully with the morning light entering the rose garden and the changing expressions of the flowers moving in the breeze.

This work was born from the resonance between Ravel’s world and Nakanoshima Rose Garden in the early morning of May 16, 2026.
