A Crime Inflicted on the World by the Evil of Communist One-Party Rule — Japan Must Begin Calculating Its Claim for Damages Against China
This article examines the coronavirus crisis as a crime inflicted on the world by the Chinese Communist Party’s one-party dictatorship.
It criticizes the fundamental position of Japan’s mass media, political, business, academic, and legal establishments for failing to express anger or pursue China’s responsibility, and argues that Japan should be the first nation to calculate and demand compensation for the resulting damage.

What is completely absent is the perspective that this was a crime inflicted on the world by the evil of Communist one-party rule, together with any anger over that crime.
The fundamental position is wrong.
I am republishing the chapter originally released on April 28, 2020, under the title, “The Fundamental Position Is Wrong—Japan Should Be the First Country in the World to Begin Calculating Its Claim for Damages Against China.”
I am writing this while watching NHK’s News Watch 9, and perhaps it is because NHK itself behaves in this way.
I am convinced that this has happened because Japan’s mass media, political establishment, business community, academic world, and legal profession are probably more deeply subjected to Chinese influence operations than those of any other country in the world.
This virus disaster was not merely something that came entirely from China.
What makes the response so wrong is the complete absence of the perspective that it was a crime inflicted on the world by the evil of Communist one-party rule, together with any anger over that crime.
The fundamental position is wrong.
Because the essential questions of who, what, when, where, why, and how are being deliberately suppressed, disreputable figures are able to operate behind the scenes.
Japan should, by rights, have been the first country in the world to begin calculating the amount of damages to be claimed from China.
Consider what China has done.
It was China that buried Chinese poison-gas weapons underground, fabricated the claim that they had been left there by the Japanese military, enlisted the cooperation of the Asahi Shimbun in publicizing the claim throughout the world, and forced Japan to pay as much as one trillion yen over this single matter.
The fabrication of the Nanjing Massacre, the fabrication of stories concerning Unit 731, and attacks exploiting false reporting led by the Asahi Shimbun over the contents of history textbooks are only a few examples.
It was none other than the Chinese Communist Party, the CCP, that extracted astronomical sums of money from Japan through repeated fabrications, defamation, and slander.
It is also an undeniable fact that we Japanese have never uttered a word of protest against China’s anti-Japanese education and textbooks, which distort and fabricate history completely.
What disgraceful conduct from a state broadcaster!
What a pathetic country!
What a foolish country!
