The Abnormality of NHK News: Anti-Trump Reporting Like Beijing’s Proxy and a News Division Without Love for Japan
This article criticizes the reporting stance of NHK’s 7 p.m. news and Watch 9, examining its anti-Trump tone, its apparent alignment with Beijing, its use of Keio-affiliated commentators, its Asahi-like mentality, and the contrast with TV Tokyo’s WBS and YOU wa Nani Shi ni Nippon e?

Any decent Japanese person can understand that their manner has nothing unrelated to their relationship with Beijing.
Recently, I have truly come to dislike watching NHK’s 7 p.m. news and its 9 p.m. Watch 9.
That is because the reality of NHK is that it gives mere announcers the strange title of “caster” and repeats violations of the Broadcasting Act every night.
If one considers the manner of Masayuki Takayama and Masahiro Miyazaki, who are living-day Tadao Umesao figures, it is perfectly obvious that they are nothing more than mere announcers.
The manner of an announcer is to read scripts every day, and therefore, in essence, an announcer cannot possibly be a journalist.
The time has long since come for the Japanese people to realize that NHK is an abnormal organization that does not understand even such elementary-school-level facts.
Last night’s 7 p.m. news was decisive proof that NHK is, in fact, the most malicious organization.
A female announcer with an oddly long face deliberately lowered her tone by a semitone or a whole tone, used an extraordinarily long segment, and began, endlessly, reporting that was nothing but anti-Trump.
And this, of all times, was when the whole world is being struck by the worst catastrophe since the war, no, the worst catastrophe in history, caused by the Wuhan virus.
Any decent Japanese person can understand that their manner has nothing unrelated to their relationship with Beijing.
I searched this woman.
A graduate of Keio University.
I see, I thought.
That is why recently NHK has been bringing on, again and again, people called professors of Keio University as so-called scholars who say exactly what NHK wants them to say.
The other day, because NHK showed the foolish and malicious nature of regarding the utterance of sanctimonious pretexts as reporting, I searched the woman in question.
She was the daughter of a female TBS announcer, and she too was a Keio graduate.
NHK is probably now building close relationships with people called so-called scholars who make their living at Keio.
There can be no doubt that they are people formed by subscribing to and reading the Asahi Shimbun closely, in other words, people who have the same brain structure as the editorial writers of the Asahi Shimbun.
Unbelievably, in the 7 p.m. news, using a long segment, a Japanese state broadcaster now calmly carries out, as an agent of the Chinese Communist Party, endless anti-Trump reporting over a long period of time.
A friend of mine, one of the most well-read people I know, said, “Watching something like Watch 9 is bad even for your mental health. You would be better off watching a comedy program.”
Come to think of it, he was also the one who told me that the program I never miss, “Yabai yo, Yabai yo, Puu,” was good.
That became the occasion for me to learn of the program YOU wa Nani Shi ni Nippon e?
The only time NHK’s news program was decent was when Kono, a graduate of Kyoto University, was hosting Watch 9.
If there are people who cannot understand how abnormal NHK is, although the time is a little late, which is its only drawback, they will see at a glance that I am telling the truth if they watch TV Tokyo’s WBS, the news program hosted by the team of Oe and Yoichi Takita.
They are ordinary Japanese people, but NHK’s announcers are not ordinary Japanese people.
They are abnormal.
It was probably the first time that I could not watch the mere 30-minute 7 p.m. news to the end.
Because the time slot overlapped, I decided to watch the recorded YOU wa Nani Shi ni Nippon e?
It was truly as different as the moon and a soft-shelled turtle.
Foreigners who, without exaggeration, love the various good qualities of Japan even more than Japanese people do, and the people belonging to NHK’s news division, from whom one cannot feel any love or respect for Japan at all.
