The following is taken from an essay by international political scholar Genki Fujii, published in this month’s issue of the monthly magazine WiLL under the title “America’s ‘Racial Riots’ Are a Movement to Prevent Trump’s Re-election.”
Anyone who reads this essay will surely wonder what Japanese reporting, beginning with NHK’s Watch 9, actually is.
As with its reporting on the Wuhan virus, NHK deliberately fails to observe the basic journalistic requirements of the five Ws and one H.
Its reporting is propaganda produced by people displaying the utmost arrogance, who attempt to lead the Japanese people according to their own distorted ideology.
Yesterday, I learned for the first time that Kensuke Okoshi had served as editor-in-chief of Watch 9.
This was the same man who, while presenting the programme, invited Kang Sang-jung as a guest and used the public airwaves of what is effectively the flagship news programme of Japan’s national broadcaster to make the absurd declaration that he respected him from the bottom of his heart.
He also sincerely believed and stated the fabrication that forced removals had taken place.
If even NHK is like this, it is hardly surprising that TV Asahi and TBS continue without hesitation to engage in conduct that merits the revocation of their broadcasting licences.
This essay is essential reading not only for the Japanese people but for people throughout the world.
America’s “Racial Riots” Are a Movement to Prevent Trump’s Re-election
The United States was on the verge of defeating the Wuhan virus, and Trump’s approval rating had reached its highest level since he took office.
He was ready to seek re-election.

The Truth About the Minneapolis Riots
The Minneapolis riots shaking the United States can be described as “a movement by an extreme-left terrorist group to prevent Trump’s re-election.”
On May 25, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a Black man named George Floyd died after being assaulted by a White police officer, Derek Chauvin.
The White officer’s excessive conduct was a problem.
However, the deceased George Floyd had a criminal record involving armed robbery and drug possession and was regarded by the police as a person requiring particular caution.
This was rarely reported.
I was not the only person who wondered whether that Black man had truly been an entirely innocent citizen.
NHK and other media organisations that did not report this at all are not journalists in any sense.
They are merely government employees.
The spectacle of such people interfering in discussions of government, diplomacy and international politics is a grotesque caricature at which no one can laugh.
The riots that began with protests over this incident spread throughout the United States.
Within five days, curfews were imposed in more than twenty-five cities, developing into a major national disturbance.
The riots went far beyond the limits of protest against the police.
They involved indiscriminate violence and looting and even destroyed businesses owned by Black people.
They could therefore be described as “a war against American society.”
The people who allowed the riots to expand were Democratic Party mayors, including New York Mayor Bill de Blasio.
President Trump suggested deploying the military because their response was far too weak.
Republican Rudolph Giuliani, who served as mayor of New York from 1994 to 2001, sharply criticised de Blasio, saying, “An incompetent mayor should be replaced.”
To deter crime, the “broken windows” theory must be put into practice.
Suppose that in a city with a high crime rate, a ground-floor window facing the street is broken, leaving a building open to entry by criminals.
If the window is left in that condition, it encourages criminal conduct.
However, people are reluctant to break an intact window, and repairing the window will therefore reduce crime.
Removing environments that make crime easy and firmly enforcing the law whenever even a minor offence occurs will help prevent crime from increasing.
By applying the broken-windows theory, Mayor Giuliani created a New York City with less crime.
Why did the Minneapolis riots spread throughout the United States?
The group using George Floyd’s death, turning demonstrators into rioters and creating lawlessness was ANTIFA, which President Trump designated a “terrorist group.”
ANTIFA is an abbreviation of “anti-fascism,” but its members are themselves extreme-left fascists with connections to the Chinese Communist Party and North Korea.
ANTIFA’s immediate objective was presumably to prevent President Trump’s re-election.
The strategy was to worsen public security through riots and destroy law and order.
Public opinion would then be guided toward the claim that “this is the fault of the racist Trump.”
The liberal media would then operate like an arsonist and firefighter, circulating the “falsehood” that Trump had divided the United States and caused the disorder.
It is widely known that Arima of NHK’s Watch 9 earnestly broadcast precisely this false narrative.
The forces that had divided the United States were left-wing liberals and the managers of stateless corporations, who did not pursue the national interest but acted only for their own benefit, together with the politicians and bureaucrats who followed them.
The anger of ordinary people toward those forces produced the presidency of Donald Trump.
A Chinese Plot
There is a strong possibility that the Chinese Communist Party was using ANTIFA to lead the riots as part of its concept of “unrestricted warfare,” under which every possible means is used to wage war against an enemy country.
The same applies to Black Lives Matter, or BLM, which is described here as an extreme-left violent organisation.
On May 28, China adopted the national security law that crushed Hong Kong’s freedom and autonomy at the National People’s Congress, which had been postponed because of the Wuhan virus crisis.
The thirty-first anniversary of the Tiananmen Square incident was also approaching on June 4.
It would therefore not be surprising if China had been secretly inciting the American riots to divert the attention of the international community.
To tell the truth, I suspect that after the Wuhan virus began spreading in Wuhan, China deliberately allowed it to flow overseas.
If the Wuhan virus had been contained within China, only China’s economy would have deteriorated, and Chinese companies would have been removed from global supply chains.
Perhaps Xi Jinping feared that outcome and decided to drag the world economy down with China.
That would also damage the American economy, which had been thriving under the Trump administration.
For President Trump, the restoration of the American economy should have been his strongest point in the presidential election.
In September of the previous year, the unemployment rate reached 3.5 percent, its lowest level in fifty years, and it maintained that historic low into the new year.
However, the shock of the Wuhan virus caused unemployment to rise in April to 14.7 percent, its worst level since the war.
The plan to destroy President Trump’s achievements through the Wuhan virus appeared to have succeeded.
However, the unemployment rate fell to 13.3 percent in May, showing signs of improvement, and the economy began moving toward recovery.
The United States was beginning to defeat the Wuhan virus.
In addition, President Trump’s complete innocence had been proved in the so-called Russiagate affair discussed later.
A Gallup opinion poll released on May 17 showed his approval rating at 49 percent, the highest level since he took office.
It was under those circumstances that the Minneapolis riots occurred.
The riots would cause President Trump’s approval rating to fall sharply.
Furthermore, if large numbers of people gathered during the riots, crowded and close-contact conditions could trigger a second wave of the Wuhan virus.
I would also add that China itself is the world’s greatest racist country.
Its atrocities in Tibet and Xinjiang go without saying.
During the Wuhan virus crisis, African Black people living in China also faced discrimination, including being refused treatment at hospitals.
From the American perspective, it could be said that the country was being subjected to indirect invasion and warfare in the grey zone.
The Minneapolis riots were presumably a new move in China’s plot to prevent Trump’s re-election and ensure that Biden became president at any cost.
On June 8, six blocks of Seattle became a lawless zone controlled by terrorists.
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan was conciliatory toward ANTIFA and other terrorists and withdrew the police from the heart of the city.
The six blocks consequently became an abnormal world ruled by extreme-left violence.
Durkan, a left-wing Democrat and leading opponent of Trump, was still leaving the lawless zone, in which every kind of crime was spreading, untouched as of June 16.
