Italy, Do Not Become a Vassal of China—Have the Pride Befitting the Birthplace of Civilization

Originally published on October 17, 2019.
This article criticizes Italy’s apparent move toward China at a time when the EU was beginning to recognize the danger posed by China, warning against the Chinese Communist Party’s one-party dictatorship, human-rights abuses, honey traps, and anti-Japanese influence operations.
It calls on Italy, as the birthplace of civilization, to recover its pride and independence.

Italy, do you truly want to become a vassal state of a country of “bottomless evil” and “plausible lies”… to which has been added the evil of one-party Communist Party dictatorship… the greatest human-rights violator in human history?
In other words, this man is surely a Chinese spy exactly like Ozaki Hotsumi of the past.
I am republishing a chapter originally posted on March 11, 2019, under that title.
As my readers know, I love Italy.
But I was disappointed and astonished by reports that Italy was about to rebel against the EU just as the EU had finally realized China’s true nature and begun to take measures to restrain China.
Italy, do you truly want to become a vassal state of a country of “bottomless evil” and “plausible lies”… to which has been added the evil of one-party Communist Party dictatorship… the greatest human-rights violator in human history?
If your finances are under such pressure, why not, for once, stop taking three-hour siestas at lunchtime?
If you truly love your country, why not have the entire nation work for the sake of the country for ten or twenty years?
I was about to write something like that.
But perhaps today’s Italy is in a state where many spies have infiltrated it…
Just as, before the war, many Soviet spies infiltrated the Roosevelt administration in the United States and steered American policy in a pro-Soviet, pro-China, anti-Japanese direction…
When Sakurai Yoshiko won the lawsuit brought by Uemura Takashi after he lost his temper, the Italian who tried to pick a quarrel with her at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan was a man who graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Rome and studied at Keio University.
I am convinced that this man is the one who led the Italian government toward its present intention.
In other words, this man is surely a Chinese spy exactly like Ozaki Hotsumi of the past.
He also has a thick pipeline to the Italian government, just as Ozaki Hotsumi did.
To begin with, Italians are a people who live for romance even more than the French, so they are probably the people most susceptible to Chinese honey traps.
Italy.
Instead of allowing such a Chinese spy to conduct activities in Japan to denigrate Japan, or to make the government of your own country move exactly as China intends,
why not, for once, stop the laziness of three-hour siestas?
According to one theory, if an Italian man does not make love to his wife three times a day, morning, noon, and night, it leads to divorce.
For the next ten years, for the sake of your country, why not reduce the three times to one, at night only, and have the entire nation work seriously?
If you do that, Italy will revive at once.
And one more thing…
Perhaps this is another point in which Italy resembles China…
If you stop the underground economy and have every citizen pay taxes properly, as in other advanced nations, especially as in Japan and the United States,
would Italy not revive tomorrow?
Italy.
Have the pride befitting the country where The Turntable of Civilization began.
What was all that accumulated culture up to now?
Was it really so thin and shallow that, for money, it could so easily be sold off to the greatest human-rights violator in human history—a country of bottomless evil and plausible lies, to which has been added the evil of one-party Communist Party dictatorship?
