Hilty Saw Through the Nature of Newspapers: Japan Has No Future Unless It Supports the Man Attacked by the Asahi Shimbun and NHK

Drawing on Masahiro Miyazaki’s book The Self-Destruction of Xi Jinping’s Rogue-State China Has Begun!, this article cites Hilty’s warning about newspapers, public praise, and men who build their standing through propaganda.

Moreover, a man who has built up his own position through propaganda must absolutely be rejected.
For within him there can be no good foundation whatsoever as a human being.
The following is an excerpt from the book below.
Please read it by adding “television” to “newspapers.”
Miyazaki
In For Sleepless Nights, Part Two, Iwanami Bunko, Hilty states as follows.
“If you wish to become a completely righteous person, you will probably have to give up what is called ‘being written about favorably in the newspapers.’”
“It is part of the most certain knowledge of human beings not to trust a person who is frequently, and greatly, praised by newspapers. Moreover, a man who has built up his own position through propaganda must absolutely be rejected. For within him there can be no good foundation whatsoever as a human being.”
These words of Hilty are words I would like to convey to all Chinese citizens who hold in their hands such newspapers as the People’s Daily and the Global Times.
For unless they reject the man most praised by these newspapers, namely Xi Jinping, a bright future will not come to China.
*I will write my own assertion regarding the final two lines.
These words of Hilty are words I would like to convey to all Japanese citizens who hold the Asahi Shimbun in their hands and watch NHK and other such media.
Unless they support the man whom these media continue to attack, namely Shinzo Abe, a bright future will not come to Japan.
