Is It Right to Deceive the Japanese People with the Beautiful Phrase “Living with the Virus”? — Artificial Viruses as “Invisible Weapons” in a New Era of War

This article introduces an essay by Keiko Kawasoe examining questions surrounding the novel coronavirus that emerged in Wuhan, the possible development of multiple engineered viruses, and the danger of entering a new era of warfare against invisible biological weapons.

Is it right for the mass media and so-called intellectuals to turn their eyes away from such “malice” and deceive the Japanese people by brandishing the seemingly scientific and beautiful phrase, “We must learn to coexist with the virus”?
The following is taken from a penetrating essay by Keiko Kawasoe published in the monthly magazine WiLL under the title “Investigation: The Wuhan Artificial Virus—The Nightmare Had Been Foretold.”
The genuine essays published in the monthly magazine WiLL are essential reading not only for the Japanese people but also for people throughout the world.
What was the chilling truth concealed in the thriller novel The Eyes of Darkness?
A War Against an Invisible Weapon!?
Japan appears to be gradually recovering from the unprecedented disruption caused by the coronavirus crisis, but unsettled days continue amid talk of “social distancing,” “remote work,” “increasing infections among children,” and “a second wave of the coronavirus.”
For more than four months, I have devoted myself wholeheartedly to investigating the true nature of the novel coronavirus, yet several questions continue to trouble me.
One of them is whether the “novel coronavirus that emerged in Wuhan” and the Wuhan virus that entered Japan may have possessed different levels of toxicity.
One day, I asked an acquaintance who has dealings with British intelligence agencies about this matter, and was told, “Six to eight types have been identified, including an H5N1-type artificial virus, an H5N6-type artificial virus, a hantavirus-type artificial virus, and a mutated H5N1-type artificial virus.”
In other words, the fact that so many artificial viruses already exist means that countries around the world—not only China—had been researching artificial viruses and biological weapons; that is, they had been creating them.
It would therefore not be unreasonable to infer that someone intended to use them someday for some purpose.
Furthermore, the possibility of a “malicious release of a virus”—in other words, that someone might intentionally spread it—cannot be reduced to zero.
Of course, were such claims to be made publicly, they would probably be dismissed with the single expression “conspiracy theory.”
However, Dr. Anthony T. Tu, professor emeritus at Colorado State University and a longtime adviser to the United States government and military on biological weapons, whom I introduced in the June issue of WiLL, calmly stated, “If a virus was being created at a laboratory in Wuhan, it would naturally have been intended for attack. Would there be any need to study a virus that does not spread?”
Scholars who are sincere and pure in their commitment to life should be devoting themselves to research each day while asking, “How can we save even one more life?” and “How can we prevent needless deaths?”
Yet it would not be strange for rulers or states to exist that do the exact opposite, conducting enthusiastic research or ordering research and development into questions such as, “How can someone be assassinated with pinpoint accuracy?” and “How can vast numbers of people be exterminated?”
Even if an age were to come in which nuclear weapons no longer existed on Earth, would that mean that every “weapon of terror” had disappeared from the planet?
That is inconceivable.
If so, we may conclude that we have entered a “new era of warfare” in which humanity must fear and confront the “invisible weapon” of artificial viruses.
Meanwhile, is it right for the mass media and so-called intellectuals to turn their eyes away from such “malice” and deceive the Japanese people by brandishing the seemingly scientific and beautiful phrase, “We must learn to coexist with the virus”?
To be continued.
