The Collapse of Japan’s Media Discourse Exposed by Asahi Shimbun and Television News

A critical essay examining the intellectual degradation and ideological bias of Japanese media, focusing on Asahi Shimbun, NHK, and commercial broadcasters. It argues that media negligence threatens Japan’s national interest, credibility, and public trust.

Regarding the appalling state of Asahi Shimbun’s reporting over the past two weeks, I will discuss it later, but its severity was such that I grew tired even of monitoring it.
Therefore, I completely stopped occasionally watching TV Asahi’s “Hōdō Station,” which I had viewed from time to time for surveillance purposes.
I leave that task to Mr. Noriyoshi Hanada, publisher of the monthly magazine Hanada, and as an unknown individual, it is best for me to devote my time to my own pursuits.
I had felt that the moment a former chairman from Mitsui & Co., a typical “leave-it-in-the-fields” type, was replaced by someone from Mitsubishi Corporation, NHK’s News Watch 9 began once again to exude the atmosphere it used to have.
I had frequently seen the current male and female anchors appear on the 11 p.m. news program.
No one can say for certain that among those who control the news of this program, there are not individuals similar to the elite of Chongryon.
Moreover, watching today’s NHK, I am convinced that in such organizations, that is, organizations that make a living through speech and expression, there must exist powerful factions.
I had watched the female anchor Kuwako since her days on Bura Tamori.
Not only her, but I find it suspicious that female anchors across television stations regard as their model that typical Asahi Shimbun believer, or rather Asahi Shimbun fanatic, who appears on TV Asahi’s Hōdō Station.
This is because the same tendency can be seen on Fuji Television and elsewhere.
As I have already written, watching them led me to withdraw the concept of “Women’s 21st Century,” which I had proposed when I first appeared with The Turntable of Civilization.
Watching them, it is not a “Women’s 21st Century” at all, but rather Japan exactly as it has been, defeated in war, turned into a colony of the United States, and manipulated at will by the governments and intelligence agencies of China and Korea, an outrageous state of affairs.
The level of incompetence is simply too extreme.
These women make a profession of commenting not only on domestic politics but also on international politics and diplomacy, and while it is fine for them to smile at the camera,
if they are to speak of politics, diplomacy, and peace, that is, if they are to speak the truth, they should read without fail the genuine scholarly articles filled in monthly magazines such as Hanada, WiLL, Voice, and Seiron before delivering the news.
Broadcasting news based on Asahi Shimbun alone merely amounts to declaring themselves to be outrageous traitors, deranged pseudo-moralists, and utter fools who are perfectly manipulated by the countries of “bottomless evil” and “plausible lies.”
They should realize this as quickly as possible.
This is because the matter concerns the prosperity, honor, and credibility of the Japanese state and the Japanese people.
To be continued.
