レスピーギの《6つの小品》が、あまりにも良い。
昨日、岐阜クララザールじゅうろく音楽堂で聴いた五十嵐薫子のアンコール、レスピーギ《6つの小品》第1番《甘美なワルツ》は、私の中に深く残った。
高校生時分、連日NHKFMを聴いて暮らしていた頃、レスピーギは私の好きな作曲家の一人だった。
その記憶が、昨日の五十嵐薫子の演奏によって鮮やかに甦った。
本作品は、2026年5月31日に撮影した金華山の写真と、2025年6月5日に撮影した日本平と三保の松原の写真によって構成した写真集である。
音楽には、YouTubeに公開されているレスピーギ《6つの小品》全曲の音源を使用した。
時間は17分43秒。
金華山には、信長の気配がある。
日本平と三保の松原には、日本の海、日本の空、日本の富士がある。
レスピーギの音楽は、その二つの風景を、まるで一つの記憶の中で結び合わせるように響いた。
《甘美なワルツ》の優美さ。
《セレナーデ》の静かな詩情。
そして全曲を通して漂う、レスピーギならではの光と色彩。
昨日の演奏会の余韻と、金華山の快晴。
そして一年前の日本平と三保の松原の記憶。
それらが、レスピーギの音楽によって、一つの作品となった。
私は、とても良い作品になったと思う。

Respighi’s Six Pieces are simply too beautiful.
Yesterday, at Clara Saal Juroku Ongakudo in Gifu, Kaoruko Igarashi played Respighi’s Six Pieces, No. 1, Valse caressante, as an encore, and that performance remained deeply within me.
When I was a high school student, listening to NHK-FM day after day, Respighi was one of my favorite composers.
That memory came vividly back to life through Kaoruko Igarashi’s performance yesterday.
This work is a photo collection composed of photographs of Mount Kinka taken on May 31, 2026, and photographs of Nihondaira and Miho no Matsubara taken on June 5, 2025.
For the music, I used a complete performance of Respighi’s Six Pieces that is publicly available on YouTube.
The length is 17 minutes and 43 seconds.
Mount Kinka carries the presence of Nobunaga.
Nihondaira and Miho no Matsubara hold the sea of Japan, the sky of Japan, and Mount Fuji of Japan.
Respighi’s music sounded as if it were binding these two landscapes together within a single memory.
The elegance of Valse caressante.
The quiet poetry of Serenata.
And throughout the entire work, the light and color that are uniquely Respighi’s.
The lingering emotion of yesterday’s concert, the clear sky over Mount Kinka, and the memory of Nihondaira and Miho no Matsubara from one year ago.
Through Respighi’s music, they became one work.
I believe this has become a very fine work.
