I watched NHK’s historical drama from the very beginning to the very last scene today for the first time.
I did so because, in this column, I have repeatedly stated that Japanese women are the most beautiful in the world and possess the finest hearts precisely because they are the descendants of Murasaki Shikibu and Sei Shōnagon.
In addition, Uji is one of my favorite places, which I have visited more than one hundred times.
I watched each episode recorded on NHK BS 4K.
It was truly wonderful.
