The book argues that the Chinese Communist Party used sophisticated propaganda to instill a sense of guilt in the Japanese people and influence Japan’s historical perceptions and diplomatic posture through issues including the Nanjing Incident and Yasukuni Shrine.
It calls on Japan to free itself from a distorted burden of guilt and urgently rebuild its national defense.

Having successfully implanted falsehoods in the minds of the Japanese people through skillful propaganda and instilled in them a sense of guilt and atonement, the Chinese Communist Party was able to place itself in a position of superiority.

Free Yourselves from the Burden of Guilt
With the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus, the world has begun to enter a period of rapidly mounting tension.
Hong Kong, where the one-country, two-systems framework has come to an end, is dead, and countries led by Britain and the United States have adopted confrontational positions toward the dangerous actions of the Chinese Communist Party, or CCP.
Japan, however, has failed to take a resolute stand against repeated intrusions into its territorial waters, has not protested even when the People’s Daily claimed that “the Ryukyu Islands were taken from Japan,” and has been unable to make an immediate decision even to cancel President Xi Jinping’s state visit to Japan.
Under the beautiful name of Japan-China friendship, Japan has continued to help the CCP’s economy grow and has encouraged its increasingly overbearing conduct.
This book reveals the fundamental cause of that distorted Japan-China relationship.
It is that the Japanese people misunderstand the truth of the China Incident and the true nature of the CCP.

The author believes that the Asahi Shimbun began reporting on the “Nanjing Massacre” as preliminary work intended to instill a sense of guilt in the Japanese people before Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka’s visit to China.
The CCP understood that Japan’s strength had rested upon reverence for the imperial lineage and the national military, and it continued working to weaken those two pillars.
Anyone can easily see that the reporting stance of the Japanese mass media on issues such as Yasukuni Shrine reflects the intentions of the CCP.
By reading this book, people can free themselves from the sense of guilt surrounding the China Incident and understand the dangerous true nature of the CCP.
In order to oppose a military power that no longer even attempts to conceal its intention to invade, the reconstruction of Japan’s national defense is an urgent necessity.
The Japanese people must now awaken.
