With the subjects, predicates, and paragraph structure clarified, I publish this once again for Japan and the world.

Published on August 19, 2019.
Taking as its subject the full-page opinion advertisement placed by Hong Kong citizens in the Nikkei Shimbun, this essay discusses the freedom and intellect Japan should rightfully possess, and its mission as a country where “The Turntable of Civilization” turns.
An essay criticizing the influence of the Asahi Shimbun, NHK, Kenzaburo Oe, Haruki Murakami, and others on postwar Japan, and denouncing the present situation in which Japan cannot respond to Hong Kong’s dying cry.

Unlike Japanese people who subscribe to the Asahi Shimbun and watch NHK, they know that Japan is a country where “The Turntable of Civilization” turns.
Why did the citizens of Hong Kong place the following full-page opinion advertisement in the Nikkei Shimbun?
Among repeat visitors to Kyoto, people from Hong Kong and Taiwan are among the world’s most numerous.
Unlike Japanese people who subscribe to the Asahi Shimbun and watch NHK, they know that Japan is a country where “The Turntable of Civilization” turns.
They placed the full-page advertisement in the Nikkei Shimbun because they know that Japan is a country that must guide the world as a global leader alongside the United States for another 170 years.
Yet, although Shinzo Abe has indeed been working with the ferocity of a lion to restore Japan to its rightful place…given his work and his standing at the G20, it is only natural that Hong Kong citizens took the following action.
But Japan was controlled by the Asahi Shimbun until August five years ago.
It was controlled by the Asahi Shimbun, the agent of China and the Korean Peninsula, the only two anti-Japanese states in the world.
Asahi and NHK have continued to brainwash the Japanese people into believing that Japan is an evil country that started the war, and that the Japanese military was an army embodying evil.
In other words, initially following the War Guilt Information Program (WGIP), which was GHQ’s occupation policy, and after the restoration of sovereignty, becoming infected with communism and pseudo-moralism and being exploited in that condition by China and the Korean Peninsula, they have continued to keep Japan in the position of a political prisoner in the international community, in accordance with those countries’ wishes and propaganda.

The following advertisement is, by way of comparison, The Dying Swan as danced by Maya Plisetskaya.
Yet everyone must have felt Japan’s present powerlessness.

If Japan had been…as the citizens of Hong Kong see it…a country where the turntable of civilization turns, a country that has attained the world’s highest degree of freedom and intellect, and had been able to act, in both name and substance, as a global leader alongside the United States, Japan could have answered the desperate opinion advertisement that Hong Kong citizens issued without begrudging its considerable expense.

Kenzaburo Oe and Haruki Murakami are leading examples of those unforgivable people who, like Asahi and NHK, have continued to play a major role in keeping Japan in this pathetic condition in which it cannot respond.
Regarding the Korean Peninsula, Haruki Murakami disparaged those who exposed Asahi’s lies and revealed the realities of the Korean Peninsula on the Internet as people drinking cheap liquor, and publicly declared in the Asahi Shimbun that Japan must continue apologizing to the Korean Peninsula forever.
Regarding China, in a recent work, he wrote not only that the Nanking Massacre really happened, but something suggesting that the number of victims was not merely 200,000 but 400,000.
This is the utmost servility and pandering toward China.
Haruki Murakami is someone whose whereabouts and activities are unknown to most Japanese people.
Through a search, I learned that he stays at luxury resorts around the world and writes novels.
It goes without saying that he is an ideal target for the intelligence agencies of China—a country under the Communist Party’s one-party dictatorship, where it is no exaggeration to say that propaganda and influence operations are everything; in other words, a totalitarian state.
Moreover, he is a mysterious figure to the Japanese people.
He is someone whose everyday life is unknown.
If I were the head of a Chinese intelligence agency, I would send the most beautiful woman among the honey-trap operatives, said to number no fewer than 5,000, to the ultra-luxury resort hotel where he was staying.
After all, most Japanese people have absolutely no idea where he is.
At the same time, that means he is full of vulnerabilities.
The intelligence agencies of South Korea, which has continued for 74 postwar years to practice Nazism under the name of anti-Japanese education, would think about him in exactly the same way as China’s.
I had not intended to write about Kenzaburo Oe in this essay, but when he received the Nobel Prize, China and the Korean Peninsula must have conducted an intense campaign behind the scenes to recommend him.
Now, as for Haruki Murakami, I have never once wanted to read his so-called novels.
As I have already written, I first read his prose and writing style in the installment featuring him in the monthly magazine Seiron’s “Biographies of Japan’s Hollow Figures,” and was appalled by its immaturity.
I knew about his background.
A graduate of Waseda University…Waseda at that time had lower entrance-examination rankings than it does today and was by no means a university that was difficult to enter.
His name occasionally appeared in the Asahi Shimbun as a translator of Raymond Carver, Kurt Vonnegut, Raymond Chandler, and others.
It was after he wrote Norwegian Wood that he was, so to speak, suddenly touted as a major bestselling novelist.
I knew that Joyce Carol Oates was one of America’s finest writers, that she was said to be among those closest to receiving the Nobel Prize, and that her greatest masterpiece was written from the inspiration she received upon hearing Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right.”
Bob Dylan and John Lennon are inseparable parts of my life, people who have sustained me throughout my unusual life.
It is no exaggeration to say that I have lived supported by these two men every single day.
I had felt uneasy about Haruki Murakami’s use of the Beatles’ “Norwegian Wood” as his title.
One day, when I arrived at the conjecture described above, a hypothesis emerged.
So I investigated the time interval between the two stories.
The result was exactly as I had suspected.
I wrote about it here.
I wrote that there was a strong possibility that he had plagiarized her.
Some time later, I searched for Joyce Carol Oates on Wikipedia to check again and was astonished.
What had been such an extensive entry had been almost entirely erased and replaced with a very brief biography.
I immediately thought:
My conjecture was 100 percent correct.
Perhaps fanatical Harukists from South Korea or China had launched their trademark barrage of complaints and had it erased.
For there could be no explanation other than that my conjecture was true.
Thanks to Asahi, NHK, Oe, Murakami, and their like, Japan has been reduced to a country that can say nothing in response to the following desperate opinion advertisement.
People who are absolutely determined not to lose their freedom and intellect now stand on the brink of having the minimum conditions of human existence taken away by China—a country under the Communist Party’s one-party dictatorship, the largest and worst human-rights violator in history, a country without even freedom of speech.
In the face of their dying cry, our country, Japan, the finest country in the world, has been reduced to a country that can say nothing because of the most base and malicious people—Asahi, NHK, Oe, Murakami, and their like.
Had the postwar era not been one in which such base and despicable people controlled Japan, it would not have been reduced to a country that can say nothing.
China, which sought to become a hegemonic state of a kind that humanity could never condone, is finally being subjected to a complete economic squeeze by the United States, which has at last recognized its true nature and declared that it will tolerate no further arrogance.
The Communist Party’s one-party rule is a candle flickering in the wind.
That is why China has begun cozying up to Japan.
Of course, as usual…while continuing to threaten the Senkaku Islands with military force…behaving precisely like a gangster state.
For China, all manner of technologies, including semiconductors, and Japan’s financial strength are now its last lifeline.

Yet Japan, as a result of having been controlled by the aforementioned…the most base and malicious people in the world…and as a result of their influence, which still remains…cannot even tell China, “Unless you can guarantee the freedom and intellect that Hong Kong citizens desire, Japan cannot conduct business with China on amicable terms.”
This essay continues.
